The top is crafted from Solid Myrtlewood that has undergone Cort’s special ATV (Aged To Vintage) torrefaction process. This technique simulates decades of aging, giving the guitar the open and highly resonant tone of a vintage instrument right out of the box. Exotic Oregon Myrtlewood combines the best tonal characteristics of rosewood, mahogany, and maple—delivering powerful bass, a warm midrange, and exceptionally clear, bright highs. For flawless amplification on stage or in the studio, the guitar comes equipped with the premium Fishman Presys II electronics system.
