The DF-69 guitar is inspired by the work of the legendary luthier Daniel Friederich. The result is a well-balanced guitar that has an explosive power with a clear projection. With this DF-69 guitar we definitely aim at the professional and conservatory student player.
Some modern features were added to the classic design, such as an elevated fingerboard and the bone bridge saddle that is mounted at an angle. The elevated fingerboard allows for an easier reach in the higher registers. The angled position of the bone saddle increases the downward pressure on the top and makes the response quicker, the string height and intonation easier to adjust and is a perfect platform for undersaddle pickup installation. A perfect marriage between traditional and modern design.
The machine heads have a very nice feature in which the shaft becomes friction free thanks to a bearing located at the end of the roller’s shaft, providing a smooth and accurate tuning with a minimum rotating effort!
This DF-69 has a spruce top and has all the projection and complexity of tone that you expect of a professional spruce top guitar.
